Homeowners have begun thinking about football season parties and spending more time indoors again.
Consider going back through your bid lists and calling those who haven’t committed yet. It’s a great opportunity to let them
know that you’ve got multiple outstanding bids that will be taking up much of your time in the coming months, but that if they order now, you will ensure that their project is installed before Thanksgiving so they have plenty of time to enjoy it for weekend gatherings this fall.
Being exposed to all the amazing products
this industry offers, as I’m cooking at home I often think “wouldn’t it be great if I had [insert product here]” in the kitchen. Kids are going back to school. People’s focus is shifting back indoors and National Kitchen and Bath Month seems like the perfect opportunity to drive that message home. I think it may be a good time for you to review your focus on your showroom as well.

YOU START BY TAKING A CLOSE LOOK AT THE LIST OF SERVICE PROVIDERS LPG HAS BROUGHT TO YOU IN THE PAST YEAR.
With so much constantly changing, it can be challenging to keep track of everything, but I think it’s especially important for LPG members to know who each and every vendor and service provider is. During my recent travels visiting showrooms around the country, I’ve found that members have been unaware of all the types of products and solutions available to them. I often heard, “Oh, I didn’t know we
had that” by members who were amazed at how various service providers could help their business.
Specbooks for example. Having the basic Specbooks package is an industry necessity, both at a trade counter and in the showroom. Its just part of doing business.
Allover Media offers the lowest cost on truck wraps I have ever seen, and hardly any LPG member is using them. Its basically zero cost advertising on a rolling billboard. You are missing the boat.
Bravo Business Media provides low-cost website hosting, with or without a product database, and, they make beautiful bath and lighting guidebooks that are a great take- home for your showroom customers. These are inexpensive, but a necessity, for every showroom.
I will list out the service providers in this issue again. Please, do your business a favor and give it the attention it deserves. These are low cost providers, and we need to give them support to keep them in LPG.
