Met with Matt Vecchiolla at Top Knobs’ new, and spotless, distribution center in Branchburg N.J. Their employees were actively making new displays, and we batted ideas around on how to grow business together. This is a product that needs to be displayed next to the desks and showroom counters, along with vent fans, since these are both “afterthoughts” but great add-on sales. Owners, here’s an idea — mandate that your employees either sell a vent fan or knobs/ hardware on every sale.
