In 2001, I transitioned to work outside the family business that started me on a path which would ultimately help me understand my value beyond being a member of the family. Upon my return to Jason in 2006, I was able to contribute far more effectively
to the growth and development of Jason as a company — and to our family’s legacy.”
His brother Remo V. Jacuzzi, who holds an engineering degree and has been devoted
to Jason’s successes over the past 36 years,
is Chief Operations Of cer. Remo also serves as Chairman of the Board and oversees Manufacturing, Engineering and Purchasing. Paulo describes his brother as “instrumental in the creation and implementation of each process, which allows us to deliver such high- quality products with such a short lead-time.”
Founder Remo C. Jacuzzi serves as Chairman Emeritus and maintains an of ce at the Little Rock headquarters where he stays very in
tune with business operations. Mr. J, as he is fondly called, was a star football player at the University of California where he graduated with a degree in business administration and mechanical engineering. He is a member
of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business Hall of Fame, and is known for his “Success
is in the details” mantra that has continually encouraged the Jason team to keep their standards high. He is also author of Spirit, Wind & Water, the remarkable story of the Jacuzzi family’s impact on American industry and culture.
Son Paulo describes, “Mr. J is te only person working in our industry that can claim to have been there at the industry’s beginning and has continually worked to improve hydrotherapy bathing throughout his career which has spanned 50+ years. He has been driven throughout his career by his faith, a passion for his work and building on our family’s legacy. My brother Remo V. and I are very fortunate to be able to run our ideas and questions by him. He remains our inspiration to deliver excellence to our customers and employees.”
