The Emily Post Institute has curated a collection of specialized etiquette podcasts, tailored to the needs of the group’s members, now available on LPG xTEACH.

Coming this spring to LPG xTeach will be a new podcast curated in partnership with the Emily Post Institute, a fifth generation family business that has been promoting etiquette based on consideration, respect and honesty since Emily Post wrote her first book ETIQUETTE in 1922.

These exclusive trainings are sponsored by LR Brands – An Oatey Innovation, and will give members access to best practice tips, to be used both personally and professionally, as well as coveted general advice from experts belonging to one of the world’s most renowned etiquette institutions. Podcast tropics range from personal image and dress, to writing thank you notes and managing challenging clients. 

The courses will be 10-minute podcasts featuring Lizzy Post the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, and author of Higher Etiquette, and co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette 19th edition as well as Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette 6th edition, and The Etiquette Advantage in Business 3rd edition; and Daniel Post Senning, the great-great grandson of Emily Post and a co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette, 19th edition and The Etiquette Advantage in Business, 3rd edition. He is also the author of Manners in a Digital World: Living Well Online.

This upcoming LPG xTeach podcast will help LPG showroom owners, managers and specialists to better understand how they currently interact with customers and suppliers, what they can do to improve those interactions and how to make the most of these interactions once they have ended. LPG xTEACH

The Premier Training Platform for Showrooms 

LPG X TEACH, launched in March of 2020, is comprised of a series of Learning Paths that include courses suitable for every level within showrooms — from owners to management and sales. LPG members can pursue clear paths to enhance their own career capabilities while attaining skills that will drive sales and margins for their showrooms. When members log into LPG X TEACH, they are able to view continually updated lists of Learning Paths, as well as the length of each course. This enables users to prioritize and choose courses that are of most interest, and plan them around open blocks of time in their schedules.  The Emily Post Institute podcast will function as another learning path for members to access on demand.
